Improve yourself to be success in life

What does success means to you? For you, may be success is about making a lot of money, being a millionaire, as a CEO of a successful company, and more. For other people, success can mean having a perfect relationship, slim body, good health, having a great job, a supportive family and live a happy life. Well, no matter what definition of success means to you, there is one thing that is true for all, and that is you cannot achieve success instantly.

Learning is the most crucial step in achieving success in your life. If you want to be successful today, learn throughout your life and apply what you have learned If you stop learning today, you stop your personal growth. Without growing, you will never improve, you will never learn and of course, you will never achieve what you want. So make sure you spend at least 30 minutes everyday to read and learn about your goals, your dreams, to improve in the areas that you want to be successful in.

Success is not a sprint, it is a marathon. It is not like you set your goals today, and you wake up the next day finding that you have become a millionaire. It is not like one day you wake up and you become the CEO of a highly successful company. Nothing happens automatically and nothing will improve if you keep your mind shut. In fact, it is only through learning, you will broaden your knowledge and expertise. When you are just a baby, the moment you see something on the floor, you will straight away pick it up and put it in your mouth. However, during the process of growing up, you learn all the way. Today, when you see a bug on the floor, will you still pick it up and put into your mouth? The same when you are just a kid, you learn how to ride a bicycle, falling down a few times and you will master it. So you see, learning is something a
"must" in your life.

Constant learning and improving will guarantee your success. If you think that you had known about everything, then you will never create any amazing results in your life. When you are clueless in something, spend some time learning about it. The more time you spend learning about it, the more expert you can be in that particular area.

Govt Asked to Book Singh's Murderers

Denouncing the murder of journalist Uma Singh, several political parties and human rights and media organisations flayed the government for failing to bring the murderers to the book and expressed condolence to the bereaved family. Singh was killed in Janakpur on Sunday night.
The Nepali Congress (NC) condemned the ruthless and shameful murder of Singh by an unidentified gang and the abduction of her father and brother by the Maoists three years ago.
In a press statement issued on Tuesday, the NC said the government was neither taking any action against the culprits involved in the murder nor has it tried to search for her abducted kin. "The government has failed to provide security to the journalists," it added. "The government should provide compensation to her family and ensure severe punishment for the culprits."
The Sadabhavna Party has also flayed regular attacks on media and condemned Singh's murder. The party also expressed sympathy for the grieving family.
The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has said everybody in the country was insecure. Condemning Singh's murder, the RPP urged the government to ensure security in the country.
Nepal Bar Association, issuing a statement, said constant attacks on journalists and media houses were a sign of violation of press freedom. It denounced the merciless killing of Singh. "We appeal to all people to come together and fight against impunity and terror in the country," it said.
Deploring the murder, Nepal Media Society called on the government to provide compensation to Singh's family, and urged the government to penalise the guilty.
The Editors Society of Nepal also condemned the heinous act, which cannot be excused at any cost. It said it would not be enough no matter how much it is condemned.
The National Network of Weekly and Fortnightly Papers stated that the incident has posed a serious threat to the free press in the country. It asked the government to punish the guilty.Television Broadcasters Nepal, Nepal Press Institute, INSEC, Human Rights Organisation of Nepal and NGO Federation of Nepal also denounced the gruesome killing and expressed concerns about the rampage of criminal elements targeting mediapersons. They urged the government to provide security to journalists and end impunity.

Solar device gains at outage’s expense

The ongoing power woes — weekly outage has hit an all-time high of 108 hours from today —has led to a growing demand for installation of solar photo voltaic energy in the capital.
The concept is by and large similar to solar water heater. But lack of marketing and advertising drive has failed to strike a chord with consumers all these years.
“The demand is on the rise. But the pace is yet to pick up because the installation costs are quite high. At a conservative estimate, more than 30 companies are involved in this trade in urban areas. We are installing the device in one or two households daily. The cost depends on the electricity that the apparatus will generate,” explained Nabin Bhujel, chairperson, Solar Electricity Manufactures’ Association of Nepal.
Dr Govind Raj Pokharel, an energy expert, had converted to the solar photovoltaic energy cause eight years ago. His residence — he lives at Imadol in Lalitpur — boasts of 85-watt system, which had cost him around Rs 50,000. The average cost per watt works out to Rs 400-600.
“Usually, in urban households, the demand for electricity is high. Hence, the installation of the system will bring the much-needed relief,” said Pokharel.
Buoyed by the technology, the energy expert uses more than 10 fluorescent lamps, whose capacity range from three to seven watts, at his home. He can also watch television and work on his laptop during outage. The government has introduced sops — like exemption of sales tax, Value Added Tax and customs duty — for importing the equipment. The importers, however, have to comply with minimum standards set up by Nepal Interim Photo Voltaic Quality Assurance. Renewable Energy Test Station at Nepal Academy for Science and Technology also checks the compliance norms before consumers can lay their hands on it. “Consumers have become quality conscious since a number of cases have been reported, where fake certificates were planted to boost sales,” said Pokharel.
Raju Munakarmi, energy expert, Alternative Energy Promotion Centre, said the demand and supply would determine the viability of the concept.
“At present, the installation work, too, has been severely hampered due to frequent power cuts,” he said.
Solar energy can be utilised in two ways: water heater, solar dryer and solar cooker rely on thermal system. While, the solar photovoltaic system generates electricity through silicon cells once the sun rays hit the panels. Energy is stored in a battery, which has chemical energy. Inverter connected to the device converts Direct Current into Alternate Current.

PM’s fiat to cut power outages

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal today instructed five ministers to take immediate steps to resolve the major problems facing the country — power shortage, closure of factories and industries, transportation sector and law and order.
Prime Minister had called Home Minister Bam Dev Gautam, Finance Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai, Minister for Water Resources Bishnu Paudel, Minister for Labour and Transport Management Lekhraj Bhatta and Minister for Industries Asta Laxmi Shakya to his official residence this morning.
PM instructed Paudel to initiate action at the earliest possible to resolve the problem of power shortage, said Minister Bhatta. The Prime Minister’s fiat coincides with a 16-hour daily load-shedding that the Nepal Electricity Authority has enforced nationwide. The crisis has been triggered due to the receding water level in the rivers, which are generating only 230 MW, NEA said on Friday.
PM instructed Minister Shakya to implement the government’s decision to provide minimum wage of Rs 190 to labourers and make an immediate attempt to reopen the closed industries and stop capital flight.
PM also instructed ministers concerned to resolve the dispute and maintain law and order in all the sectors, especially the industries, road and transportation, Bhatta said.
Hundreds of factories and industries have been shut down due to the disputes between entrepreneurs and pro-Maoist trade unions, which have been demanding implementation of the minimum wage, and shortage of raw materials due to the transport strike. Dahal wants the Water Resources Minister to reduce load-shedding duration by checking leakage of electricity and by reviving the damaged power plants through repair and maintenance.
